ABOUT JAQ

Jaq Quicksilver (they/he) is an award-winning artist, filmmaker, and educator whose work has earned international recognition for its contributions to transmasculine-centered adult media. Raised in the San Francisco Bay Area and now based in Amsterdam, Jaq has built a career premised on artistic freedom, queer liberation, and the belief that pleasure has inherent value.

Five of Jaq’s short films have screened at more than two dozen international film festivals spanning four continents. His work has also been presented in academic settings, most recently the 2026 (Trans—) Sexualities + Psychoanalysis Summer School, where he shared a film with scholars and students exploring gender and sexuality.

As a performer, Jaq has garnered mainstream adult industry recognition, including a Trans Erotica Award for Best Transmasc Performer, as well as multiple nominations from the XBIZ, XMA, AVN, and Pornhub Awards.

Beyond the screen, Jaq develops and presents workshops and skillshares for independent filmmakers and content creators, drawing on years of experience to help artists and sex workers build sustainable creative careers. They are also an outspoken advocate for trans rights, science-based sex education, sex worker rights, and digital privacy, and has contributed commentary and interviews across a range of media outlets.

From filmmaking to performance to education, Jaq's work explores the intersections of sexuality, transsexualism, and authentic self-expression, while championing a more equitable future for queer creators and sex workers.
